Privacy policy
How UNITECH Inc. handles the information you share through this website. In short: no accounts, no tracking, and your enquiry reaches us only when you send it.
Who we are
This website is run by UNITECH Inc., Manhar Building, 3rd Floor, 177 Lohar Chawl, Mumbai 400 002, India. We supply UNITECH automation and wiring products and WOER heat-shrink products. You can reach us at info@unitechinc.in or +91 98339 48881.
What you share with us
You can browse the whole site without giving us any personal information. There are no user accounts and the site has no server-side forms or database.
When you send an enquiry, quote request or message, the site prepares the text and opens WhatsApp or your email app with it filled in. Nothing is sent until you press send in that app. The message then reaches us with whatever you chose to include, for example:
- your name, company, phone number and email address
- your delivery city and when you need the parts
- the part numbers, quantities and notes in your enquiry
- any drawings, photos or files you share in the chat or email
If you call or email us directly, we receive the information you give us in that call or email.
Stored on your device
To make enquiries easier, the site saves two things in your browser’s local storage, on your own device:
- Your enquiry list: the parts and quantities you add, so the list follows you from page to page.
- Your details on the Get a Quote page, only if you leave “Remember my details on this device” ticked.
This information stays on your device. We cannot see it unless you send it to us. To remove it, use Clear on the Get a Quote page, untick “Remember my details”, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
Other services
Some links take you to services run by other companies, with their own privacy policies:
- WhatsApp, operated by Meta, when you send an enquiry or message on WhatsApp.
- Your email provider, when you choose to send by email.
- Google Maps, when you open our location or ask for directions.
The site’s fonts and images are served from this website, so loading a page does not contact these services.
How we use it
We use the information you send us to:
- reply to your enquiry and prepare quotes
- process, deliver and invoice your orders
- provide after-sales support
- keep the business and tax records the law requires
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and order records for as long as we need them for the purposes above and for as long as the law requires, for example for tax and accounting records. [Retention periods to confirm]
Your rights
Under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it
- correct, complete or update it
- erase it, where we no longer need to keep it
- withdraw consent you have given, without affecting anything done before
You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf, and raise a grievance with us as described below. To make a request, email info@unitechinc.in.
